Guanajuato native Jose Erasmo Gonzalez came to the United States at just 17 years old with a dream of building a better future through hard work, determination, and opportunity. What began as a young man’s journey quickly became a lifelong passion for hospitality, community, and creating meaningful experiences for others. Through years of sacrifice and perseverance, Jose built a life centered around family, service, and the love of welcoming people through food.

For nearly three decades, Jose has dedicated himself to the restaurant industry, beginning his career at Showtime Pizzeria in Aptos before continuing his journey at Beach Street Cafe in Watsonville. Along the way, he developed not only his skills in the kitchen, but also a deep appreciation for the relationships formed around the table. His goal has always been simple: create a place where every guest feels comfortable, valued, and right at home from the moment they walk through the door.
